With three decades of experience in the industry, 20 of those with Stansted Aerospace Ltd I serve as a Principal Engineer and Accountable Manager. I lead and mentor all production team members, specializing in aircraft component repairs. My role centres on ensuring every repair meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. I also collaborate with our management team to project manage and execute key strategic goals, driving efficiency and excellence throughout the production lifecycle.

With over 45 years of experience in the aviation industry, I have progressed from an apprentice to my current role as Compliance Manager at Stansted Aerospace Ltd. My career path has included key roles as a Manager and Inspector, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the operational and technical aspects of the business. In my current position, I am responsible for ensuring compliance monitoring and quality are upheld across all departments. I also oversee risk and safety assessments, leveraging my extensive hands-on experience and management background to drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

I am a Structural Inspector and mentor at Stansted Aerospace, with over 40 years in the industry. My focus is on ensuring compliance and quality through rigorous inspections of aircraft components. I also work to pass on my knowledge and expertise to the next generation, mentoring our apprentices and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.

With over 40 years of industry experience, Ian brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the inspection team. His background helps ensure that every structure we evaluate is safe, sound, and built to last. Ian has always prided himself on having a sharp eye for detail. Whether he’s reviewing a complex unit or conducting a routine check, his meticulous approach is all about making sure we consistently deliver high-quality work. Ian is proud to bring his experience to the team and help uphold our high standards.

As Avionics Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the inspection, maintenance, and repair of all avionics systems and components. I ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and quality across all operations

With my recent appointment as a Composite Inspector, I've transitioned from an engineering role to a focus on inspection. I'm dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance for all aircraft composite components by diligently following all data and regulations. My progression to this role is a testament to my hard work and dedication to the industry.

As our Stores Inspector, Joe is the meticulous gatekeeper of quality at Stansted Aerospace Limited. With a razor-sharp eye for detail, he ensures that every single component entering or leaving our facility meets strict aviation standards and regulatory compliance. From verifying Certificates of Conformity to managing rigorous traceability protocols, Joe's dedication guarantees that our engineering teams always have the right, fully certified parts for the job. Bringing over 10 years of experience in aerospace logistics and quality control to the team, Joe is a cornerstone of our safety-first culture.

Our Safety Management Systems Manager is a key leader responsible for championing a robust safety culture and ensuring our company remains fully compliant with all regulations. They don't just enforce rules; they act as a strategic partner, integrating safety into every aspect of our operations. This role focuses on proactively identifying and mitigating risks while fostering an environment where every employee feels empowered to contribute to our collective safety.

I serve as the Chief Operating Officer, where I oversee the strategic alignment of operations, talent, and finance to drive organizational success. My work is built on three core pillars: project management, staffing, and financial oversight. In this role, I ensure that teams are equipped with the right resources, structures, and people to execute effectively and deliver results. By fostering collaboration across departments, I help streamline processes, strengthen financial stewardship, and build high-performing teams that are positioned to achieve both immediate objectives and long-term growth.

​As our Production Manager, Mike is the engine that keeps our shop running at peak efficiency. From the moment a new project comes through the doors, he ensures it transitions smoothly and seamlessly from one department to the next until it crosses the finish line. ​Mike is the cornerstone of our internal communication, bridging the gap between teams and keeping everyone perfectly aligned. Top that off with his technical expertise as our resident aviation software superuser, and it’s easy to see why Mike is an invaluable part of our daily operations and our team's success.

I am an Aircraft Component Inspector with over 30 years of industry knowledge. My career began with 20 years of hands-on work, giving me a unique perspective that I now apply to ensuring the highest quality and compliance in every inspection I perform.

As our dedicated Workshop Foreman, Neil is the driving force behind the seamless daily operations at Stansted Aerospace. With a hands-on approach to problem-solving, he plays a vital role in optimizing workflow and is always ready to support any department to ensure projects stay on track. Neil has always prided himself on having a sharp eye for detail. Whether he’s reviewing a complex unit or conducting a routine check, his meticulous approach is all about making sure we consistently deliver high-quality work. As the Lead Composite Inspector at Stansted Aerospace, I bring 20 years of industry experience to the team. Having joined the company during its initial expansion five years ago, I have a deep understanding of our operational growth. My role is to oversee all aspects of composite inspections, covering both line work and workshop operations to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.

With a keen eye for detail and a genuine knack for building strong relationships with our aviation partners, Beth makes sure we source the best quality parts on time and on budget. Passionate about aerospace and always happy to lend a hand, they are a vital and highly valued part of the Stansted family!

As a Front of House and Finance Assistant, I am responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of information; for both our clients and internal teams. I play a key role in the administration of essential production data. I am also the primary point of contact for organizing all training and accommodation for our engineers at Stansted Aerospace Ltd.
