It has been an incredible season of growth for us, and we are absolutely thrilled to finally pull back the curtain on our latest major upgrade. To better serve your needs and push the boundaries of what we can repair, we have officially expanded our in-house aviation composite shop! As aerospace demands evolve, so must our capabilities. We’ve listened to your feedback, looked at the future of aviation repairs, and made significant investments in both our facilities and our people. Here is a look at what our new expansion means for our upcoming projects.
Doubling Our Production Footprint
To keep up with the demand for complex, high-precision aviation components, we knew we had to expand our foundational workspace. That is why we have completely doubled our composite shop's footprint.
By expanding our physical space and upgrading our infrastructure, we have dramatically eliminated production bottlenecks. What does this look like on the floor?
Expanded Layup Space:
We now have significantly more dedicated cleanroom space, allowing our technicians to perform complex prepreg layups on multiple large-scale aero structures simultaneously.
Increased Curing Capacity:
A larger floor plan means more room for vital equipment meaning we can process more parts at once without delays.
Streamlined Workflow:
Doubling our square footage has allowed us to optimize our layout. Parts now flow seamlessly from tooling and layup to trimming, non-destructive testing (NDT), and final inspection.
